Mac OS X

To use the WUFI-S on your Mac, use the following steps.

1) Click on the wireless icon Image:wirelessIcon.jpg, in the top bar, and the following menu will drop down (login window may pop open - cancel it).

2) Select Open Internet Connect....

3) The AirPort window will open, but ignore it for now. Go to the top bar and click on File. Select New 802.1x Connection... from the drop down menu.

4) This will select the 802.1x icon in the window that's open. If for some reason this does not happen, just click the 802.1x icon yourself. The following 802.1x dialog box appears.

5) In the Configuration bar, select Edit Configurations, and the window below will appear.

6) Set the following specifications:
  • For Leopard (10.5), set the Domain to User, not Login Window.
  • Pick a new name in the description field (maybe wufi-s.1x)
  • Network Port should be AirPort
  • Username: your login@cse
  • Password: (the one you use on seista)
  • Wireless Network: WUFI-S
  • Authentication: only TTLS should be checked, uncheck all the others.




7) Select TTLS in the Authentication field and click configure. The following TTLS dialog box will appear.



8) Set these specifications:

  • set TTLS Inner Authentation to PAP
  • Outer Identity: to anonymous (If you're using Leopard (10.5), then make it anonymous@cse)

9) Back out by clicking OK twice, then Connect.

You should be good to go!
