Installing AntiSpyware Sofware

For University machines, please contact CTS. (CTS installs Webroot Spy Sweeper and has to keep track of the liscences.)
For personal computers, five options for anti-spyware software are available (you may want to install all of them):
- Anti-spyware from Microsoft can be found at microsoft.com; look for "Windows AntiSpyware (Beta)."
- Webroot's Spy Sweeper, which the University uses, can be found at the Webroot Software page.
- A cheaper alternative to Webroot is Sunbelt CouterSpy, found on Sunbelt's Page
- Spybot Search and Destroy is a little out of date, but has a good trap on registry mods. It can be found on Spybot's homepage
- Free anti-spyware downloads can be found at Merijn.org
